February Update

Caitlin finally has her own bedroom with a loft from Ikea. Daddy and Grandpa Mike put it together on our 11th anniversary and it looks great! Grandma Joyce finished it off by making curtains to match her comforter set. Caitlin's busy with school, being a student council rep, playing games on the internet, being ordered around by mom and soon will be busy with softball. Her current thing is wearing varied colors of the silicone wristbands (yes, it's like the yellow Livestrong bracelets). She has 13 so far and I am sure there will be more to follow. Jack is excited to have his own room for now (he knows he'll eventually have to share it once Siobhan is a little older because of the bunk bed) and he loves his big desk (which was actually Caitlin's old desk). He's already trying to convince us of where he wants to have his 7th birthday party at and who he wants to invite. He's making arrangements in advance because we'll be celebrating Caitlin's 10th birthday party at www.citybeach.com in Santa Clara next month. Just like Caitlin, Jack is also into wearing the wristbands, but he doesn't wear all of them at once since they fall off his wrists. Jack is having a blast with his Digital Blue camera that he got from Grandpa Mike and Grandma Joyce for Christmas. He's been taking tons of pictures and movies with it and is waiting for cousin Veronica to help him do other fun things with what he took. Siobhan is now 18 months old. She says a few words like cool, wow, hi and dad (can you believe no mom or mommy yet). She likes following mommy around all over the house like a little shadow. She loves singing along to songs from her favorite shows like Blue's Clues, Barney and SpongeBob Sqaurepants. She still doesn't have a full set of teeth, but that doesn't stop her from eating up everything especially, french toasts, pretzels, crackers, pasta, and quesadillas. She loves brushing her teeth, but is now starting to dislike the taste of the fluoride drops. I think she's ready for homework because she'll sit in her little desk and scribble with a crayon, pen or pencil on her notebooks. I think we first need to worry about potty training before she can write her name. It looks like she'll be right handed (sorry Caitlin). Sean's keeping busy at work, with the Navy reserves, as president of the neighborhood association, with the school's tech committee as well as the school's site council and parent/teacher association, with being an assistant coach for Caitlin's softball team as well as taking care of my honey do this now lists. I guess the least I can do is make him dinner right? ;0) I'll try to better about updating the blog with news and pictures monthly. I hope this wasn't too much to read. Anyways, take care and God Bless!
