Did April go by fast or was it just me?
I can't believe it's already the 2nd week of May. It must
be this rain we've been having. Caitlin has been busy
with the STAR testing at school, thankfully it will end by
the 13th. Her class hasn't started their California Mission
project yet, but I hear they are planning to take a field
trip to one of the missions towards the end of the month.
She has a field trip scheduled next week at the
Montgomery Theater to see Suessical the Musical, should
be fun. Sean and Caitlin will be presenting and doing a mini
programming course with her class next week. I believe
the kids will create a program for dividing numbers. Her
softball season will also be coming to an end on the 21st.
Jack and Siobhan will be turning another year older over
the summer so we're trying to decide what and where we'll
be having their birthday parties. Jack's excited about the
final episode of The Amazing Race 7 which will air on May
10th. He's cheering for Uchena and Joyce to win, we'll see!
Siobhan is learning how to say you're welcome and would
rather sit and eat at the breakfast table than her highchair.
She loves to pretend to write and draw with pencils on her
picnic bench table. Sean's been busy with work, volunteering
with the tech committee at the kids school, being president
of our neighborhood association and getting the monthly
newsletter out and will be heading to Hanscom, MA at the
Air Force base over the Memorial day weekend for his
annual Navy duty. Wish we could go :0( Other than that,
things have been great! I absolutely love my mom's day gift
www.plumparty.com/partysupplies/17131.html it holds my
cell phone perfectly and it attaches well on my purse or on
my jean loops. There were 2 books I read last week that I
enjoyed. They were both by Cecelia Ahern, the books were
PS, I Love You and Rosie Dunne. Would you believe they
were already available in the SJ Public Library? I'm looking
forward to some new books coming out that will be available
at the library as soon as they are released which are Harry
Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Undomestic Goddess
by Sophie Kinsella. If you haven't read any of the Shopaholic
series by Sophie, you should, it's a good laugh.
