Fun at Gilroy Gardens . . .

The kids enjoyed themselves at Gilroy Gardens (formerly Bonafante Gardens) during spring break. It was overcast the day we went, so there weren't too many people (hardly any teeny boppers) which made it great for the bigger kids who rode the Banana Split 14 times, the Quicksilver roller coaster 5 times, the Mushroom Swing 3 times, and the Garlic Twirl (this ride made me queasy) 5 times. Siobhan loved all the kiddie rides, her favorite was the carousel. Hopefully, the next time we visit, Splash Garden will be opened. If you do plan on going once, then I would suggest to purchase your ticket on-line you'll save $12 on general admission (ages 7 and up general admission cost is $39.99).
