Family Update 4
Sorry for the delay, but here's the latest so far.
My dad is out of ICU and in a regular ward at the Makati Medical
Center (tel# 632-888-8999 room 409). His condition has improved
since the last update to the blog: he's eating, talking, cursing, sitting
up and is undergoing physical therapy. We're hoping he'll be released
from the hopsital as soon as Dr. Benitez (Gastroenterologist) gives
his ok that there isn't any internal bleeding. My mom is still with him
and with my cousins (Celso and Larry) help, someone is always with
my dad in the hospital. I spoke to my mom last night and she'll be
getting my dad a wheelchair and a walker in preparation for his
release and his therapy. I'll have more updates as soon as I know.
THANK YOU everyone for your thoughts and prayers, you don't have
any idea how much we appreciate it!

Hi Christine!
Dunno if you remember me, but I came across your blog via Flickr... and wanted to say hi. I was actually thinking about you recently, wondering where you were, as I was also thinking about Maria Cenzon. I was reading an article her dad wrote in the church newspaper. Many years ago, before you got married, I'd always run into the two of you at parties or clubs, etc.
You have a beautiful family!! Sometimes I can't believe how much time has passed. You guys should be having your 20th reunion yeah?
Maybe we'll see each other again soon. Best wishes to your family and especially to your parents. Hope your dad feels well soon.

Thanks for the note, I just talked to my mom tonight and she's saying by tomorrow my dad should be released from the hospital. Yeah!
