What more can I say? Everyone in the Bay Area is excited that Barry Zito, longtime Oakland Athletic, is jumping across the pond to be a San Francisco Giant! The $120+ million plus deal gives the orange-and-black a much needed ace and someone with the character that epitomizes San Fran.

Myself, I can't believe they broke through with the purse strings for this. It really makes me feel like the Giants are a top tier team. Or at least, could be if they could get a closer like Rob Nenn again.
